I haven't updated this blog in a long time. Sometimes life interests change and get in the way,
But today I would like to update, in case anyone is searching for courier services from Malaysia to Singapore, the cheapest and efficient courier service to use.
This is because I tried googling and there was no easy answer, I had to go one by one to find out.
So here's the short answer:
If sending documents, below 500g to Singapore, and not in a terrible hurry, use Citylink Express.
Cost = RM17.50, it includes the cardboard envelope that you just write the name and address on it and seal it up.
Delivery time: 3 to 5 working days.
Others:
AsiaXpress = I think can forget about it, both website and Facebook page outdated for many years
DHL Express = next day delivery, RM60
J&T Express = an old website page cited RM29.90, but a call to J&T revealed they have stopped services to Singapore.
Fedex = RM65
By the time I found City Link Express, I stopped looking.
And what a pleasant surprise. My document got delivered the next day.
Where to find City Link Express?
At their own outlets, or at Maiboxes Etc. (MBE)
But not all MBEs are created equal. Call the outlets to see which ones offer the City Link service.
Out of the 4 MBEs near me, only 2 said yes, they have City Link services. So don't assume all MBEs provide the same services, or the same level of services.
